meme on me

Kiki tagged me for a Meme on Me, and I think it's a pretty cool idea, so I'm going to fulfill my obligation. By the way, Kiki, every time I see your name in the comment field of my blog, I always think of The OC (which I loved and will defend to my grave). Kiki was my favorite character on that show (next to Seth, of course.)

On to the meme!

Here are the rules:

Go back through your archives and post the links to your five favorite blog posts that you’ve written.

Link one must be about family: "What you remember is not what they think you will remember. It is often not."
Link two must be about friends:In order to protect the innocent...
Link three must be about yourself: "When I grow up, I want to be a principal or caterpillar."
Link four must be about something you love: "Old dogs, like old shoes, are comfortable. They might be a bit out of shape and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well."
Link five can be about anything you choose: Boogie with Stu

Post your five links and then tag five (or more) other people. At least two of the people you tag must be newer acquaintances so that you get to know each other better.

I tag:
Aunt Becky!
Lone Chatelaine!

Except for Phil, all these people I don't know in real life but would love to get to know better through their awesome blogs. I just threw Phil in there for good measure - so no one would think I was sexist in my tagging - and so that I wouldn't have to listen to him whine again about how I didn't tag him.

Thank, Kiki!

oooh oooh. I've never been tagged before! I'll give it a try - hopefully I'll have this stuff since my blog is less than a year old.

I love being tagged. I will do it soon!

....don't you think, after not posting for *years*, that it would be kind of lame for your first post to be about your five favorite previous posts?

MissHum - thanks! I haven't had a chance to read yours yet, but I'm looking forward to doing that tonight. Can't wait! :)

Becky - I'll be watching for them.

Phil - Absolutely not. It's a way for you to jog your readers' memories... to rekindle their love for the Phil and get them pumped for what's to come next. SO HOP TO IT. PS - At like 9:00 this morning, you said "brb"... haven't heard from you since. Liar.

Maybe I'll post some more, too.

(This is a shameless plug so that the rest of your readers might go over to my site. Just in case you couldn't tell.)
