Remember Freeze Tag and TV Tag? Fresh from the inner city blog playground: Blog Tag! Thanks to Luke for tagging me and giving me something to do on a wonderfully lazy Friday night.
About a month ago, I filled out a portion of this thing which I now know is called a Meme... so with Luke's permission, I'm only going to fill out the parts I skipped before. I added a couple questions to the end, too.

Yesterday
Crappy day at work... stayed at work late Wednesday night so I was pretty out of it on Thursday. Was busy all day, but didn't accomplish anything from my own To-Do List. Thanks to my discussion with Frema tonight, this little problem will not happen again. Thanks, Frema!

You're stuck inside Fahrenheit 451. Which book do you want to be:
"Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs.... Don't give them slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy." - Beatty
From the mouth of the captain himself. I think I'd definitely want to be something trivial... maybe a copy of Cosmo Kramer's "Coffee Table Book." The one that has pop-out legs that allow the book to turn into a coffee table itself, of course.
(To anyone who doesn't get this question because you haven't read Farenheit: READ IT. It's amazing. Or at least Spark-Note it.)
Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?
Oh yes. Let's see.... there's Holden Caulfield, Nick Carraway, Rhett Butler, Paul Edgecomb.... I think those are the only ones I'm willing to admit to.
The last book you bought is:
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I probably won't start reading it anytime soon, though. (This is another post in itself.)
The last book you read:
The Wonder Spot by Melissa Bank
What are you currently reading?
Love by Toni Morrison
Five books you would take to a deserted island:
1. The Idiots Guide to Escaping from Deserted Islands
2. Anything by Billy Collins
3. Lord of the Flies, William Golding
4. The Little Prince, Antoine De Saint-Exupery
5. The Gift of Peace, Joseph Cardinal Bernardin

You know, if you do hire Elton John to sing at your wedding, that's the only thing you'll be able to pay for on your list. Not that it wouldn't be worth it, I'm just saying.
Those little pastel colored, melt-in-your-mouth mints are actually called buttermints, in case you ever want to buy them yourself.
But I don't know why you would, since they are free from the candy dishes of hostess stations and reception desks everywhere.
And I don't know if announcing to the world that you’re drunk is a bad habit. . . . It is like being the ring leader at the Circus letting everybody know that the show is about to begin!
Phil - creepy, yes, but beneficial, also. How else will I know what to do if a plane full of boys crashes on my island and they try to control everything with a conch shell, only to end up killing one another after they realize they can't peacefully coincide? That book could come in mighty handy.
Steve - I have nothing to say to you. ;)
Five times you didn't post on your blog:
1. Today
2. Yesterday
3. The day before
4. The day before that
5. The day before that
Very funny, Anon. :)
Keep checking - this week will mark the beginning of regular posts once again.
I promise.
You tagged me and I didn't even realize it?! WHERE HAVE I BEEN : )
