Dance your cares away - Worries for another day - Let the music play.......

down in FRAGGLE ROCK!

This morning, out of nowhere, Steve asked if I remembered the tv show "Fraggle Rock."

Do I ever.

I lived off this show when I was little. Seriously - I ate, slept, and breathed "Fraggle Rock." I still have a few books and an episode or two on tape somewhere at my parents' house, as well as a stuffed Red doll. She was my favorite because one of my nicknames was Red.

Personally, I don't see the resemblance.

Now that I have the theme song stuck in my head and I've read like three fan sites from beginning to end, I'm seriously considering ordering this, the first season DVD. I think the old VHS tapes just aren't going to cut it anymore.

Other things of childhood obsession:
Frog and Toad
Everything Seseme Street
Wallace and Gromit
Bearenstein Bears
Tiny Little Super Dude
The "Serendipity" book series
My dad
Fairytale Theater
David the Gnome
My dogs
Dr. Seuss
Dress-up clothes
A book called "Puddle Duck"

Too young to feel old.

In the meantime, you should satisfy your Fraggle urges with this site: Fraggle Rocker.com, which has nearly every song that was in the series, including the infamous theme song.

Down in Fraggle Rock, yo.

Yeah...I thought this show was creepy. But I'm glad it brought happiness to others.

Personally, I was a huge fan of Kissy Fur, but I don't think many people remember that show. More weird bear stuff, but cool.

I think it is just awesome. Awesome that my name is in print. . . again.

And Fraggles are not bears.

LOL Brandy - of COURSE I remember that day we saw Bearenstein Bears on tv. Sometimes I still think about that day and wonder why we changed the channel so quickly. The show that got away. Alas.

Luke - THANK YOU!!!!! I have a CD with the theme song on it (yeah, I'm a dork, so what) but that site has EVERYthing on it! I totally bookmarked it. Again with the dorkdom.

Frema - FRAGGLES ARE NOT BEARS. THEY ARE FRAGGLES. ALSO KNOWN AS MUPPETS, ONLY WAY COOLER. I'm sorry that you never got into the fraggles.... but I'm not *at all* sorry that I never got into "Kissy Fur." ;)

OK, hold on, the weird bears comment was in reference to your Berenstein Bears remark. Bear with me, people.

OK, that "Bear with me" was sooo not intended as a pun.
